On Saturday November 11, Couch performed a sold out show at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, New York. The venue was one that I had never seen before. There were multiple bars surrounding the general admission pit and a bowling alley right next to it! I thought it was such a cool set up! Will definitely be checking that out in the future!
The opening act for Couch was Alisa Amador, a bilingual singer songwriter from Massachusetts. From the moment she went on stage, I was in awe. Alisa, along with her band, played several of her original songs, both in English and Spanish. Some of my favorite songs from her setlist was Timing and one of her Spanish songs which I, unfortunately, cannot remember the name of (so sad). I loved watching her set and I even added one of her songs to my rotation playlist!

Onto the main act: Couch. Immediately after the opening act, you could feel the vibe of the crowd shift. Watching the crew set the stage for Couch, you could feel the excitement and anticipation radiate from the crowd. The moment they stepped on stage, the energy was at an all time high and I loved every second of it! Being in the general admission pit next to the diehard fans of Couch added onto the surreal experience I was feeling.

One thing I love about live music is the stage presence and the ambience. Couch did not lack in this department. I especially loved the theatrics and how danceable the songs were. A lot of the music I listen to has a mellow sound to it and hearing Couch perform such upbeat and feel good songs was very refreshing. Couch has left me with their songs stuck in my head and I love every second of it.
Couch, along with the support of Alisa, are still on their “Sunshower Tour,” check out the upcoming dates here! Be sure to check out their music on all streaming platforms! For more photos from the show, check out our photography page on Instagram!
