Rutgers newcomer PJ Hayes speaks with Eddie Kalegi

At Rutgers men’s basketball media day ahead of a highly anticipated 2024-25 season, Eddie Kalegi chatted with San Diego transfer guard PJ Hayes. The Waconia, Minnesota native averaged 10 points per game last season, and is one of ten scholarship newcomers to the Scarlet Knights’ program this season, which is also welcoming a historic freshman class headlined by Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper.

Hayes is clearly enjoying his time on the banks so far, and wasn’t fazed by a crosscountry move.
