WRSU News covers Murphy’s State of the State with reaction from both sides of the aisle

Governor Murphy delivers his 2021 State of the State address in Trenton.

WRSU News aired Governor Murphy’s 2021 State of the State address Tuesday, including reaction afterward from Democrats and Republicans.

Murphy – headed into an election year – touted his record and future plans for the state, including on COVID-19, taxes, and infrastructure, as well as plans to help struggling businesses in the state as the pandemic rages on.

After the speech, hosts Caleb Kuberiet and Connor Cullinane got reaction in live phone calls with Woodbridge State Senator Joseph Vitale (D-19) and Branchburg State Senator Christopher “Kip” Bateman (R-16).
