Show Recap: Greek Brings the Energy to Racket, New York City

Racket NYC had the privilege to host greek’s Accelerator tour on Tuesday, October 1st. greek released Accelerator around late June and has frequently been in my rotation since then. I discovered greek when he opened for Weston Estate’s tour last year in 2023. Ever since then, greek has remained one of my top artists and never fails to leave me with chills running down my spine.

The moment greek announced his tour in July, I knew that I had to be there. “ACCELERATOR” was and continuous to be a monumental album for me and not a day goes by where I don’t listen to a track from this project.

Annabelle Kline kickstarted the show with an incredible DJ set that had me movin’ and groovin’ while I figured out my camera settings! Kline was then followed by Alex Banin, who absolutely killed it with her vocals. She left me in awe and admiration of both her talent and beauty.

greek took the stage in a memorable way: by performing one of my personal favorites, “HUMAN NATURE.” Followed by many of his popular tracks, such as “hmu” and “VIRGINIA CREEPER,” greek had everyone dancing and longing for more! I was lucky enough to be able to witness “SOMEDAY” live (it is currently in my October playlist)!

There are no words to describe the energy that greek brought on this tour. I was stunned watching him sing his heart out. Needless to say, he was born to be on the stage. A bright future lies ahead and I hope to continue to be part of this journey!
